Peter Tokesi, brings with him a wealth of experience at national and state level, having coaching stints with the Brisbane Strikers over two seasons from 1997-1999,, enjoying success in the first season, with the Strikers taking out the then National Soccer League.

Tokesi, has also enjoyed successful campaigns at state level, taking XXXX Premier league side Wynnum to the championship over a three year stint, then transforming South’s from the cellar dwellers to a championship contender in his first season in charge.

Though having enjoyed marked success at senior level, Tokesi has also played a integral part in the states junior development, having coached the Strikers and also Torro in the former National Youth League and coached several Queensland U14, U15 and U16 representative sides. It is these younger players that Tokesi believes will benefit the most from the inclusion of the FNQ Bulls into the second season of the new state league.

“This is a great opportunity for the entire region to gain exposure to a higher level of football, and will give FNQ’s younger players a chance to shine at the highest possible stage throughout the state, and with the introduction of the FNQ Bulls as a possible feeder club to the NQFC, the future looks bright for the sport in FNQ”. Tokesi stated.
